"Hello, my name is Carlos A. Polzin. I joined Phi Sigma Pi over COVID online classes in 2021. It was a very interesting time to be a college student and very interesting seeing how society has fluctuated from pre-covid to now. I am currently studying on a pre-med track to become a psychiatrist and later to return for graduate school to further my education in Psychology. It is and will be a tough and long road, but as with most things in life, it will be worthwhile and filled with the truly amazing people I will meet along my journey. I find anything relating to Psychology and things that involve the fundamentals of what it means to be human very interesting to me. Especially how Psychiatric medical science marries the more philosophical aspects of Psychology. Before joining PSP, I was unaware of academic fraternities. Since I am not one for a party life, at first, I was hesitant to commit to a fraternity. Yet, once I joined, I had a blast and don’t regret it. I would invite anyone interested in academically oriented groups to apply during our next recruitment cycle. I love to learn about other people and what makes them unique and I enjoy a broad range of topics so feel free to introduce me to something you really enjoy!
